Complete visual comfort in the sun with Xperio® polarized lenses!

We've all had the experience of being completely blinded by reflections from the sun while enjoying a beautiful day outside. Many of us have simply opted for a pair of ordinary sunglasses, without taking the time to find out about the other solutions available for optimizing the comfort of our eyes in the sun.

The conventional tinted lenses that you find in most frames protect us from the sun's brightness, but give little comfort in terms of vision - they don't offer any protection against light reflected from different surfaces, such as water, sand, snow, tarmac or a car's windscreen. It is this reflected, or ‘polarized’, light that dazzles us.

Xperio® polarized lenses have been specially designed to cut out this glare. A polarizing film inserted inside the lens which functions a little like a Venetian blind means that Xperio® lenses eliminate glare, providing wearers with dramatically improved visual comfort in glare conditions.

Following a study* carried out among professional road users who were asked to compare both types of sunlenses over a period of one month, nearly 80% of the testers recommended buying Xperio® polarized lenses, rather than standard tinted lenses.

Xperio® polarized lenses guarantee 100% UV protection with other benefits including excellent unmatched visual comfort, clarity of vision and true color perception. Xperio polarized lenses are also available for all corrections and for unifocals, bifocals and progressive lenses - to meet all requirements.

Whatever type of vision you have, the latest generation of Xperio® polarizing sunlenses will provide you with optimum visual comfort. Contact your eyecare professional for more information!

* Study carried out by an independent institute in Ireland involving 28 wearers for a minimum period of 1 month for each tester.
